The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been announced by Daedalic Entertainment (Shadow Tactics: Aiko’s Choice) and NACON (The Sinking City, Styx: Master of Shadows). Players will assume the character of the devious protagonist as he grapples with the challenge of the one true ring. It’s described as a story-driven action-adventure game, and it’ll be released on console and PC in 2022.
As Gollum, go on a treacherous adventure in search of the one thing that matters to him. Climb, jump, and sneak your way through hazards from his time as a slave under the Dark Tower to his time with the Elves of Mirkwood. Gollum is cunning and cunning, yet he is divided between his two selves. It’s up to you to determine if Gollum’s evil side takes control or whether there’s still a glimmer of reason remaining in what was once Sméagol.
