A new edition of The Expendables is in the works, according to Lionsgate and Millennium Media. There are now three films in the series, all of which revolve on a group of elite troops played by past and present action stars.

In The Expendables 4, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Couture, and Sylvester Stallone will reprise their roles as Lee Christmas, Gunner Jensen, Toll Road, and Barney Ross, respectively, but there will be some new faces on the squad.

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Megan Fox, and Tony Jaa will join the cast. Rapper 50 Cent is no stranger to action flicks, having featured in films like Escape Plan (which also stars Sylvester Stallone), while Megan Fox’s career has been on the rise recently, due to films like horror thriller Till Death. In terms of Jaa, the Thai martial artist will most likely play Yin Yang alongside Jet Li, but it is unclear if the Chinese actor and Wushu champion will return.

Scott Waugh, whose previous credits include Need for Speed, a live-action version of Electronic Arts’ famous racing games, and Act of Valor, a film about an elite squad of Navy SEALs who embark on a mission to rescue a kidnapped CIA operative, will helm The Expendables 4.

The first three Expendable films have grossed a total of $804 million worldwide.

Statham, Kevin King Templeton, and Les Weldon are producing the next Expendables film. Millennium Media is represented by Yariv Lerner, Jeffrey Greenstein, and Jonathan Yunger. Avi Lerner, Boaz Davidson, and Trevor Short are Millennium Media EPs, while Christa Campbell and Lati Grobman represent Campbell Grobman Films. Abby Mills is a co-producer. Lionsgate’s Eda Kowan and Jonah Leach will direct the picture.
