New World Fire Staff build – Fire Staff and Ice Gauntlet

The New World Fire Staff build is a top-tier weapon in the game Path of Exile. It’s a staff that uses fire and ice, which makes it very powerful against both physical and elemental damage.

The new world fire staff ice gauntlet build is a new build for the game New World Fire Staff. This build includes the Ice Gauntlet, which is a new skill that allows players to freeze enemies in place with their attacks.

In New World, the Staff of the Fire Department is one of two main caster DPS weapons, with two trees: Fire Mage and Pyromancer. It’s a weapon with a wide area of effect and powerful burst damage, making it a great asset to any expedition squad or open-world party. We’ll look at the finest The New World Fire Department constructs, as well as the weapons, abilities, and gear to concentrate on for your character, in this article.

This build will primarily concentrate on two abilities while also gaining a large number of passive perks to increase our total damage. While there are six skills to select from in all, they are all extremely mana demanding, so two will suffice. In this New World Fire Staff setup, your light and heavy strikes will also serve as main damage dealers, thus taking up a third skill is kind of useless.

Before we go into our New World Fire Staff build, keep in mind that this weapon may be used in a variety of mage builds. Much of what is “best” will be determined by your chosen playing style. For this build, we want to optimize our basic strikes while maximizing the Burn damage from Incinerate and Burnout over time.

New World Fire Staff build

For your New World Fire Staff build, these are the best weapons, skills, and characteristics to use:

  • Incinerate, Burnout, Incinerate, Burnout, Incinerate, Incinerate, Incinerate
  • Entombed, Ice Shower, and Ice Storm are all part of the Gauntlet of Ice.
  • Intelligence is one of the attributes.

Fire Staff

For a Fire Staff user, Incinerate is one of the most important AoE damage dealers. It adds scorching damage over time to all foes struck, in addition to an initial burst with knockback.

Burn Out is a mobility skill that causes a group of targets in your path to be burned. You may utilize it not just in high-density monster situations, but also to close the distance between you and an opponent or to flee if you’re in danger.

  • Incinerate – Inflict a flaming explosion that does 130 percent weapon damage and knocks all foes back three meters. For six seconds, sets opponents on flames, inflicting 3% weapon damage each second.
  • Burn Out – Dash through enemies, inflicting 129 percent weapon damage each time you strike them. When you pass through a target, it will catch fire, causing a Burn that does 10% weapon damage per second for eight seconds.

We’ll be taking up the following passive skills to further enhance these abilities:

  • Scorched – Each strike of Incinerate adds another stack of burning to the stack.
  • Cauterize Wounds – Restore 20 percent of Incinerate’s damage.
  • Incinerate hits twice with Flame Out.

Flame Out is the most essential passive ability to learn here. Incinerate is already a powerful weapon, but with Flame Out, it strikes twice, essentially doubling the initial damage as well as the burst damage, for a total of 260 percent weapon damage plus an additional 72 percent damage over time. In dungeons and high-density regions, the more opponents you strike, the greater total damage you deal, which scales nicely.

Ice Gauntlet

Apart from the Rapier, the Ice Gauntlet goes well with the Fire Staff and is the most common secondary weapon. It has some great synergy with the Fire Staff for a strong mage build, as it scales with the same main attribute.

The Ice Gauntlet excels at zoning out opponents and crowd control, allowing you to keep adversaries at a safe distance while your fire skills burn them to death. It offers excellent AoE abilities, much as the Fire Staff, so you can continuously pump out damage on huge groups of enemies. The following are the abilities we’ll be learning:

  • Entombed – Players may become invulnerable and boost mana regeneration by encasing themselves in ice. The Ice Tomb has a ten-second lifespan and is destructible.
  • Ice Shower – Create a frosted region of 1 by 5 meters by summoning an ice shower. Frostbite is a condition that roots enemies for one second, blocks sprint and dodge, slows speed by 50%, and lasts for three seconds after leaving Ice Shower. The Ice Shower is a four-second burst of ice.
  • Ice Storm — A ranged attack that slows opponents inside a five-meter radius and delivers 17 percent weapon damage every 0.25 seconds. Slow by 25%, with a 20-meter range and a 5-second duration.

New World Ice Gauntlet build

If you want to be more mobile and mix in some melee, you may use a Rapier. It’s always great to dash about and pump out fire damage, but if you are caught in a poor position without your cooldowns, you’ll be very squishy.

Attributes

Your main characteristic as a Fire Staff user should be intellect. The good news is that if you combine your Fire Staff with an Ice Gauntlet, you’ll receive damage scaling for that weapon as well. For every fifty points spent on any attribute in New World, you get an additional passive stat. The Intelligence bonuses are as follows:

  • 50 points – 10% damage from light and heavy magical attacks, 10% harvest speed
  • 100 points – 10% critical damage, 5% chance of getting 1 Azoth while harvesting
  • 150 points – 10% elemental damage and a 10% reduction in the weight of harvested goods
  • 200 points – 10% mana regeneration after a dodge, 10% harvesting speed
  • 250 points – DoT spells have a 30% longer duration, and harvesting yields have a 10% boost.
  • 300 points – 30 percent damage on first strike of full health target, 10% Azoth travel cost decrease

New World Intelligence

You have a few of choices here. You should probably put the most, if not all, of your points into Intelligence. It is the most essential talent since your damage scales with it. You must decide how important your health pool is to you, and your response will influence how many points you put into Constitution.

At 300 Intelligence points, the boost of 30% damage on the first blow against full health targets is enormous. If you can achieve this goal, your damage output will substantially improve. At the very least, I suggest aiming for at least 250 Intelligence points to get the 30% enhanced DoT spell bonus, which will boost all of your burn damage.

Put the rest of your points in Constitution, or rearrange your priorities along the way. You don’t need to worry about your health if you mainly do dungeons/expeditions and have a strong, dependable tank to assist you. If you’re a single player who likes to progress in the open world, you’ll probably need a little more Consitution.

Gear

You should use a combination of heavy and medium armor for your mage gear. For the additional damage and debuff length increase, some players choose an overall Equip Load of “Medium.” For greater protection and longer crowd control debuffs, some players choose a “Heavy” Equip Load. It’s a matter of personal taste, so go with what you like.

  • Medium Armor — If you’re wearing medium-weight armor, you’ll be able to dodge quickly. You have a 10% boost to damage and healing. You may extend the duration of crowd control debuffs by 10%.
  • Heavy Armor – Your dodge is a sluggish sidestep while wearing heavy armor. Your block’s solidity improves by 15%, and the crowd control debuffs you use last 20% longer.

New World Equip Load

It may seem illogical, given that most MMORPG caster classes can only wear light armor. However, the class structure in New World is unique compared to other games, and the mage class is naturally more of a “Battle Mage” owing to its short-range skills.

In the New World, what does a Caster DPS Class do?

Your main purpose in this New World Fire Staff construct is to do damage every second (DPS). Your goal is to do as much damage is possible to help clear dungeons as fast as possible. A decent party in almost every MMORPG consists of a few of damage dealers, a healer, and a tank.

As a damage dealer, you’ll have to control your threat. For novice MMO players, this implies that your damage output may be limited by the amount of danger your group’s tank can create in order to keep the monsters’ aggro. To make your healer’s job easier, make sure you’re not “pulling threat” and drawing enemies’ attention away from the tank.

You’ll undoubtedly draw a mob as a class that specializes in doing a lot of area of effect damage, but attempt to control your damage carefully. You won’t have to worry about this if you have a strong tank who can properly hold threat, but keep it in mind if you join random pick-up parties to run expeditions and dungeons.

As the New World meta develops and skill changes take effect, we’ll make sure to update this build. Meanwhile, under our Fresh World area, you may find some new relevant material.
