In FFX, there are two ways to get musk. One is through farming and the other is by bribing a certain NPC in the game. To get musk from farming, you will need to have a maximum of 4×4 fields with 2×2 plots on each field. You can also use a 3rd party program called “confuseproof” to make it easier for you.
The greatest method to harvest Musk is to steal from Ahrimans on Mt. Gagazet, since you earn 2-3 every swipe. As a common theft, you’ll obtain x2 Musk, and as a rare steal, you’ll get x3 Musk.
These fiends may also be found in the Zanarkand Ruins and Inside Sin, although farming on Mt. Gagazet is more convenient unless you want anything specific from those locations.
Stealing from Sandragoras in the Bikanel Desert is another alternative for farming. As a rare steal, they have x10 Musks.
These fiends, however, only appear as visible on-screen foes once, thus if you kill them in combat, they will not reappear.
Steal till you have Musks, flee, then continue the process to farm Sandragoras. However, if you’ve previously defeated all of them in Bikanel, you won’t be able to use this approach.
Locations of Musk (All Farming Methods)
Musks may be obtained from the “Evil Eye” family of fiends in Final Fantasy X. Ahrimans, Buers, Evil Eyes, Floating Deaths, and Eyes That Float are all examples of this.
Musk is also a steal from the desert-dwelling Sandragoras, but you can only fight them once, so you’ll have to take from them, run, and repeat to farm them (they don’t come back after they die in combat).
However, because to their abundance, the Ahriman are the finest option for farming out of all those fiends.

But the finest application for Musk is in Rikku’s mix, where you may build strong healing remedies quickly and easily. It’s ideal for getting out of a jam.
